STEP 1:

Bra sizing features two measurements, the letter representing the cup size and the number representing the band size.

  1. Measure directly below your bust, firm against your body, this is your band size.
  2. Without wearing a bra or in a well fitting non-padded bra, non-sports bra, measure firmly across the fullest part of your bust without cutting into the breast tissue, this is the measurement for your cup size.
  3. Use the charts, or our guide to transfer these measurements into a size. If in between sizes or unsure, utilise the below info to navigate your best fit.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Measuring Tips: Stand straight, wear a non-padded bra when measuring for bras, and avoid bulky clothing for panty measurements. Do not wear a sports bra when taking your measurements, you will likely measure far smaller than your actual size.

STEP 2: BOTTOM CUP DEPTH (BCD) MEASUREMENT

BCD is the vertical measurement from the underwire to the apex of the cup (roughly your nipple or the fullest part of the breast). It ensures the cup’s depth matches your breast shape. Everyone varies in where the breast volume sits. By double checking your BCD measurement, you will be more accurate in getting the right fit the first time.

  1. Use a soft measuring tape, placing one end at the base of the breast where the underwire sits, and measure up to the nipple point (apex).
  2. Match your measurement to the BCD range for your size.

SISTER SIZING

  • “Sister sizing” is a term used to describe the same cup sizes (letter) when the band size (number) changes. Usually calculating your “sister size” is helpful when solving common bra fit issues, such as changing band size (number).
  • Sister sizes have the same cup size as each other, although represented by a different letter depending on the band size.
  • 1 SISTER SIZE DOWN = one band size smaller than your current band and one letter larger than your current cup ie. 12C = 10D your band size gets smaller, your cup size gets bigger.
  • 1 SISTER SIZE UP = one actual band size larger than your current band size and one letter smaller than your current cup ie. 8C = 10B your band size gets larger your cup size gets smaller.
Horizontally this chart represents bras with the same cup size as the band size changes, although the letter differs the cup size is the same.
  • Start with your usual size:
  • Move left to see your sister size down – this is helpful if your cup feels good but your band is too loose.
  • Move right to see your sister size up – this is helpful if your cup feels good but your band is too tight.

    UNDERWEAR SIZING GUIDE

For sizing of panties or thongs, measure around the fullest part of the hips. Use the chart to find the closest size.
